Even coaches need coaches.  Today I was given a gift.  It’s up to me to decide if I want to keep the gift or give it away.  That’s what feedback is.  It’s a gift that allows the receiver (you) to put it to good use or to simply toss it.  Before you decide what course of action you should take, it’s important that you:

  1. Consider the value,
  2. Consider the source, and
  3. Consider the risk of taking or tossing the gift.

After completing my three-pronged assessment of the gift, I determined that this is a gift I will cherish for years to come. I am so grateful that the giver thought enough of me to assist me in my quest of continuous improvement.
